We believe in buying less and buying better. As a result, the markets we (help) organize always feature a carefully-curated selection of products made by independent makers and innovative brands.
The Indie Brands® Local Goods Market opened its doors in April 2014 in the former tram depot De Hallen in Amsterdam West. The market features independent brands and makers that sell local products from the Amsterdam area. From bicycles to shirts, from furniture and books to homemade sausages, chocolate and tea. The market started out as a cooperation between Pakhuis de Zwijger and Indie Brands®.

We’ve organized Indie Brands® markets and pop-ups in old railway stations, abandoned warehouses, greenhouses, safari tents, old pharmacies and most recently in a museum. During Museumnacht the Amsterdam Museum allowed us to introduce modern makers in four fabulous locations. See what happens when Modern Makers meet Old Masters.
